Job summary

Rory Mackie & Associates seeks an Internal Banker for Private Banking to support and implement client deals in partnership with External Bankers. You will handle loan documents, credit for complex lending, and grow the Treasury book while maintaining service excellence.

The role requires a mature, tenacious professional with exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to leverage AI productivity tools to enhance decision making.

Qualifications

• BCom degree (Accounting or Law) preferred.
• Understand deal implementation process.
• Strong operational understanding and skills.
• Excellent knowledge of the financial services industry and global trends.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficiency with AI-enabled productivity tools such as Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Drafting of loan documents
• Credit for complex lending deals
• Focus on growing the Treasury book
• Dealing with forex (investment allowances)
• Responsibility for Basel (IB) Ratings
• Potentially meeting clients with your Private Banker
• Maintain stakeholder relationships
• Leverage internal relationships
• Cross sell within banking
• Responsible for data quality & continuous clean-up
• Participation in Forums/UAT/Projects
• Responsibility for analytics regarding the client base
• Mine existing base/increase share of wallet
• Running with non-standard guarantees
