Job Description

This role involves engaging with our clients' target market through networking to expand the client base and generate new business, with a strong focus on acquisitions.

Responsibilities :
  • Sourcing new business via cold calling, leveraging existing client relationships, networking, and referrals
  • Meeting specified budgets and activity targets
  • Providing a high-quality CRM service to existing clients
  • Presenting products and services to clients
  • Offering financial advice on :
  • Lending products, including Residential, Commercial Property, and Secured loans
  • Local and international banking requirements
  • Treasury and forex

Acting as a connector and enabler for clients' needs across different divisions within our organization.

Requirements :
  • Relevant tertiary degree (preferably BAcc / CA (SA), MBA, CFA, CIMA)
  • Minimum of 5-6 years' experience in financial services
  • In-depth knowledge of deal structuring
  • Ability to network within the organization, including Wealth and Investment divisions and the Specialist Bank functions in South Africa
  • Experience engaging with international clients and geographies
  • Experience in Wealth Management and Structured Property Finance is advantageous
  • Awareness of and compliance with regulatory frameworks
  • Strong social and networking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and work effectively in a team
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
