Job summary

Cytel asks a Senior/Principal Statistical Programmer to work remotely on a sponsor-dedicated program within a global pharmaceutical client. You will lead SAS/R programming for SDTM/ADaM, prepare Define.xml, and oversee CRO outputs while ensuring compliance with FDA guidelines and data quality across studies.

The role requires 7+ years in biotech/pharma programming, strong communication, and independent work; you will collaborate with statisticians and vendors in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics or statistics preferred.
• 7+ years as a Statistical Programmer in Biotech/Pharma clinical development or similar team.
• SAS programming skills with SDTM/ADaM and Define.xml experience.
• Experience supporting regulatory submissions and interactions with FDA/ICH regulators.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Generate SDTM, ADaM specifications, datasets, reviewer's guide and define.xml files for multiple studies.
• Develop SAS programs to create datasets, complex listings, tables, and graphs.
• Deliver high-quality SAS/R programs tailored to clinical development needs.
• Oversee CROs' statistical programming deliverables to meet timelines.
• Support preparation of clinical study reports, regulatory submissions and exploratory analyses.
