Job summary

Cytel is seeking a Senior/Principal Statistical Programmer (Remote) to be embedded with a sponsor client and supported by Cytel. You will lead statistical programming for multiple clinical studies, generating SDTM/ADaM specs and delivering high‑quality datasets and tables.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in biostatistics programming, expert SAS skills, and strong knowledge of CDISC standards, FDA/ICH regulations, and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, mathematics or statistics.
• 7+ years as Statistical Programmer in Biotech/Pharma Biostatistics or similar.
• Expert SAS programming skills and regulatory data handling experience.
• Extensive CDISC SDTM/ADaM knowledge including Define.xml.
• Experience with regulatory submissions and FDA/ICH guidelines.
• Independent worker with strong communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Generate SDTM/ADaM specs, datasets, reviewer’s guides and define.xmls for multiple studies.
• Develop SAS programs to create datasets, listings, tables, and graphs.
• Deliver high‑quality SAS/R programs for clinical data analyses.
• Oversee CRO programmers to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Support preparation of CSRs, regulatory submissions and DSURs.
• Contribute to standards for programming tools, outputs and macros.
• Collaborate with CROs, vendors and clinical development partners.
• Review SOPs and work instructions for statistical programming practices.
