Job summary

Network Finance in South Africa seeks a senior software engineer to own and maintain a PostgreSQL data warehouse and integration platform.

You will design, build, and support cloud-based data pipelines, APIs, and platform services, while ensuring data accuracy, reliability and security across business systems.

Lead and mentor developers, establish engineering standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver trusted data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years owning or supporting data platforms, integrations, APIs, or cloud-based services.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, Node.js, Python, REST APIs, Git/GitHub, and cloud platforms (GCP advantageous).
• Experience managing production environments and critical business systems.
