Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Principal Security Architect to lead enterprise security design and strategy. This fully remote role reports to senior leadership and drives security across cloud and on-prem landscapes to protect critical assets.

You will shape the security roadmap, mentor teams, and ensure security is embedded into SDLC and infrastructure. A 12+ year track record and cloud security expertise are required with desirable certifications.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering.
• 12+ years in cybersecurity with focus on security architecture.
• Cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), IAM and data security.
• Proven ability to design and implement large-scale security solutions.
• Threat modeling, risk assessment frameworks and security compliance knowledge.

About the Role

• 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity , with a significant focus on security architecture design and implementation.
• Deep expertise in cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), network security, identity and access management (IAM), and data security.
• Proven ability to design and implement complex, large-scale security solutions.
• Strong understanding of threat modeling, risk assessment frameworks, and security compliance requirements.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Industry-recognized security certifications such as CISSP-ISSAP, SABSA, or TOGAF are highly desirable.
