Job description

Minimum Requirements

- A Master’s Degree in Industrial Psychology.

- Compulsory registration as Psychologist (Industrial) with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.

- A minimum of 3 years post-registration experience as an Industrial Psychologist with the HPCSA.

- Valid code B driver’s licence.

Proof of registration as Psychologist (Industrial) with the HPCSA must be submitted with your online application.

Recommendation

Experience in Leadership and Culture Interventions will be advantageous.

Key Performance Areas

  • Manage, plan, develop, guide, and advise on complex theories and models to enhance behavioural, group, and organizational behaviour.
  • Apply paradigms, theories, and models to improve organizational behaviour.
  • Contribute to the design and development of OD intervention methodologies and instruments.
  • Provide guidance to employees and ensure operational efficiency in leadership and culture components, including training and development needs assessment.
  • Responsible for employee discipline, conduct monitoring, and performance management.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of employee output.
  • Manage contracts with service providers, including expenditure projections and procurement of services, stationery, and training.
  • Engage in research and development activities.

  • Knowledge of the Health Professions Act, HPCSA Code of Ethics, and policies on psychometric measuring devices.
  • Professional judgment and reasoning skills.

Remuneration

R 1 per annum (Grade 1) - OSD as prescribed.
