Placements24 is seeking a Principal Digital Media Producer in Centurion, Gauteng to lead ambitious projects from concept to final delivery. This senior role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a track record in producing video, web series, interactive media, and multimedia campaigns.

You will oversee the full production pipeline, manage budgets and timelines, mentor teams, and ensure high quality, brand-consistent output.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in digital media production; 5+ years in senior production/management roles.
• Experience producing video, web series, interactive apps, and social campaigns.
• Strong understanding of full production pipeline: pre-production, shooting, post, distribution.
• Proven experience managing large budgets and complex project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end production of digital media projects from concept to final delivery.
• Manage budgets, timelines, resources and vendor relationships effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital media production, with at least 5 years in a senior production or management role.
• Demonstrated success in producing a wide range of digital content, including video, web series, interactive applications, and social media campaigns.
• Strong understanding of the entire digital production pipeline, including pre-production, shooting, post-production, and distribution.
• Proven experience managing large budgets and complex project schedules.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com) and production tools.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be able to work full-time onsite in Centurion, Gauteng.
