Job summary

OpenText, The Information Company, is seeking a senior solutions architect to lead the technical and solution implementation stream in Professional Services projects on Cloud or Off-cloud. You will help set up foundational Information Management landscapes for some of the world’s largest enterprises and lead a team of consultants to deliver right-sized solutions.

You will work with clients to align architecture with strategic initiatives, applying best practices and guiding stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of technical experience in designing and implementing ECM/AppWorks solutions
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, IT infrastructure, networks and relational databases
• Excellent communication and strategic thinking to drive value in every cycle

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical and solution implementation stream in Professional Services projects on Cloud or Off-cloud
• Architect and oversee end-to-end solution delivery with enterprise architects and client teams
• Guide bid scoping, roadmap generation, and best-practice adherence across projects

YOUR IMPACT

You will contribute in setting up the foundational layer of Information Management landscape for some of the world’s largest enterprises. You will focus on leading the technical and Solution Implementation stream in Professional Services projects on Cloud or Off-cloud.

What The Role Offers

• Understand the transformational initiatives of business in the Enterprise Information Management space
• Advocate, advise and implement world class solutions to our Clients
• Lead a team of consultants to deliver the right solution in the context of a project
• Contribute in generating Roadmap for Clients
• Scoping functionally complete and commercially viable offerings during bid phase
• Articulate the merit of choosing solution options with experts internally and with enterprise architects at Client side
• Follow and contribute to best practices for solution architecture, technical architecture and solution implementation approachesn
• Ensure the solution is implemented following best practices and aligns with the Client’s strategic initiative by overseeing and applying quality gates
• Stay abreast with cloud technologies and imbibe the learnings as and when needed in real life

What You Need To Succeed

• An expert level knowledge with hands on experience in either AppWorks or Enterprise Content Management (ECM) stack or both
• Expertise on similar products may also be considered
• More than 14 years of technical experience in designing, implementing solutions in the above products
• Excellent knowledge and experience working in Enterprise applications, IT Infrastructure, Networks and Relational databases
• Communication that will promote trust and clarity
• Strategic thinking and structuring those ideas to achieve incremental value in every cycle
• Well versed in various lifecycles of solution architecture – ground up building or to transform the existing to meet certain objectives
• Seamless interactions with project team, internal and external stakeholders through clear communication, abstracting complexity and result driven approach
