This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of bespoke, architecturally significant residential projects for discerning clientele. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process for ultra-luxury residential projects, from conceptualisation to final handover.
• Manage and mentor design teams, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, ensuring exceptional service and project delivery.
• Develop innovative and bespoke design solutions that reflect the highest standards of luxury residential architecture.
• Oversee the preparation of exquisite design presentations, detailed drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with all relevant building codes, planning regulations, and client-specific requirements in Sandton.
• Collaborate with specialist consultants (e.g., interior designers, landscape architects, engineers) to achieve a cohesive and integrated design outcome.
• Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for exclusive development opportunities.
• Champion sustainable design principles and the integration of smart home technologies within luxury residences.
• Represent the firm at high-level client meetings, industry events, and design reviews.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Architecture or equivalent professional qualification.
• A minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in architectural practice, with a significant and demonstrable portfolio of completed luxury residential projects.
• Proven experience in leading design teams and managing complex, high-value projects.
• Exceptional conceptual design skills and a sophisticated aesthetic sensibility.
• Expertise in advanced architectural design software, including BIM.
• In-depth knowledge of premium materials, finishes, and cutting-edge construction techniques.
• Superior client relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience within the luxury property market in Gauteng , particularly Sandton , is highly advantageous.
• Professional registration with SACAP (PrArch) is mandatory.
