PRIMARY SCHOOL PE SPORTS COORDINATOR

Holy Rosary School, situated in Edenvale, Johannesburg, is an Independent Catholic Girls’ School and a member of ISASA. We are seeking to appoint a Sport Coordinator, who also has experience in coaching various sports disciplines and who is passionate about the physical development of children. Holy Rosary Primary School offers a variety of sporting disciplines.

The successful candidate will work with pupils in the Primary School, as part of a vibrant and capable team. Starting date: January 2026, with the flexibility to accommodate the ideal candidate What we are seeking in a candidate who meets all the following requirements:

• Be respectful towards the Catholic ethos of the school.
• Be able to manage and control the sporting programme, with strong administrative skills in this area. The ideal candidate is experienced and has a degree in Sports’ Management or teaching qualification with Physical Education as a subject completed. Ability to teach an academic core subject would be an advance.
• Be involved in the physical education curriculum as well as after school sports programme.
• The ability and contribute a wealth of experience and knowledge to the physical education programme and sports development within the school, focusing on fitness, sports skills and healthy lifestyle habits.
• Have strong communication skills necessary for liaising with parents, staff and children
• Have a SACE registration certificate, clearance certificates (police clearance, child protection and sexual offences clearance certificate) and first aid training. Why you will love this role:
