Job summary

Affirmative Portfolios in Johannesburg is seeking a Pricing Specialist on a 12-Month FTC to lead pricing strategies for new products, services, and markets. The role requires a BCom degree with Mathematics/Finance/Accounting and at least five years in pricing analysis, with telecom pricing experience preferred.

You will conduct market research, perform cost analyses, and present pricing proposals to the CFO and pricing committee. Strong attention to detail and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Five years’ pricing analyst or equivalent experience.
• Three years’ experience in a telecommunications environment.
• Three years’ experience in developing and defining pricing structures.
• CIMA registration is an advantage.
• Knowledge of market research and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop pricing strategy for new products, services and markets.
• Research market relevance and report results.
• Perform cost analysis versus pricing margins and obtain CFO approval.
• Provide pricing models to Accounts Manager for customer solutions.
• Drive commercial models for projects and new market offerings.
• Develop and obtain EC approval of pricing models and enable sales.
• Facilitate pricing proposals and approvals from pricing committee.
• Negotiate pricing with customers when required.
• Manage pricing audit findings with finance, sales and marketing.
