Plan.Net CreativeNest South Africa is seeking an experienced Presentation Art Director to shape the visual direction of sophisticated presentations. Qualifications

• Strong professional experience in presentation design, graphic design or art direction.
• Outstanding portfolio demonstrating sophisticated presentation design and visual storytelling.
• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills are essential.
• Excellent understanding of typography, layout, composition, hierarchy and visual systems.
• Strong information-design and data-visualisation skills.
• Ability to turn complex or text-heavy content into clear visual communication.
• Experience creating templates, Slide Masters and scalable presentation systems.
• Strong understanding of branding and the ability to translate brand guidelines into presentation design.
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and interpreting strategic or business-focused content.
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of craft.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong visual concepts and creative directions for presentations.
• Translate strategies, ideas, data and complex information into clear and engaging visual stories.
• Establish the overall look and feel of presentations, from typography and imagery to layout and information hierarchy.
• Understand the purpose and audience of a presentation and adapt the visual approach accordingly.
• Turn rough content, Word documents, sketches or existing presentations into polished and compelling decks.
• Challenge content and structure where necessary to improve clarity and storytelling.
• Create presentations that feel premium, contemporary and aligned with the respective brand.
• Design and produce high-quality presentations directly in PowerPoint.
• Build sophisticated slide layouts and flexible presentation systems.
• Create and maintain PowerPoint templates and Slide Masters.
• Develop charts, diagrams, infographics and other forms of data visualisation.
• Use animation and transitions purposefully to support storytelling and presentation flow.
• Ensure presentations remain practical and editable for teams and clients.
• Work efficiently across both smaller presentations and large, complex decks.
• Maintain a high level of consistency and craft across every slide.
• Translate existing brand identities into scalable presentation systems.
• Ensure presentations comply with brand guidelines while still feeling creative and engaging.
• Develop reusable templates, modules and design components.
• Create systems that allow other team members to produce consistent, high-quality presentations.
• Work across different brands and visual identities while maintaining the individual character of each.
• Collaborate with colleagues across South Africa, Germany and the wider international Serviceplan network.
• Understand briefs quickly and translate feedback into effective creative solutions.
• Present and explain design decisions confidently to internal stakeholders.
• Support teams in improving the overall quality of presentation design.
