Job summary

Edelman Studio in Johannesburg is seeking a Midweight Designer with 2–5 years' experience to contribute to international campaigns, social, branding, and client presentations. You will create layouts, infographics and assets, adapt work for diverse markets, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to maintain brand consistency and visual excellence.

Strong Adobe skills and presentation deck design are essential; familiarity with AI tools is a plus, and the role offers a fast-paced agency

Qualifications

2-5 years' experience in a design or creative agency.
Strong portfolio demonstrating digital, branding and campaign work.
Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Experience designing presentation decks in PowerPoint or Google Slides.
Experience working on client-facing projects.
Strong understanding of typography, layout and visual storytelling.
Experience with AI-assisted creative tools.

Responsibilities

Design creative assets across digital, social, print and integrated campaigns.
Support the development of visual concepts for client work and new business opportunities.
Design presentation decks for client meetings, executive communications, pitches and RFP submissions.
Create layouts, illustrations, infographics and campaign assets that communicate ideas clearly.
Apply and evolve client brand guidelines across multiple channels.
Collaborate closely with Creative, Strategy, Client and Production teams.
Adapt creative assets for different markets and languages while maintaining brand consistency.
Produce artwork to a consistently high standard, often within tight deadlines.
