Job summary

The successful candidate will hold a Diploma in ECD (NQF 6) and have a minimum of two years’ experience, with strong communication, planning and organisational skills to support learner growth.

Qualifications

• Diploma in ECD or equivalent (minimum NQF level 6).
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an ECD teacher.
• Knowledge of the IEB curriculum.
• Proven facilitation, problem-solving and report-writing skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform teaching duties, including planning and delivering activities for preschool learners.
• Coordinate lessons in line with Curro curriculum and ECD guidelines.
• Maintain classroom management and communicate with learners and parents.
• Record learner progress and attend meetings with parents and staff.
• Support aftercare and key extracurricular activities as required.
