Job description

We are seeking an insightful and detail-oriented Researcher to join our fast-growing team at CloudAtlas, a leader in data-driven sales research and strategic market intelligence.

Operating at the intersection of people, process, and performance, CloudAtlas empowers sales and marketing teams with high-quality, decision-ready insights.

The ideal candidate will be naturally curious, methodical, and passionate about uncovering patterns in complex B2B environments.

You'll play a vital role in helping our clients—primarily in the automotive and tech sectors—identify growth opportunities, understand buyer behavior, and gain a competitive edge through human-centered, AI-enhanced research.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Do daily research on target companies to support our projects and campaigns.
  2. Find the right people at those companies—based on their roles and responsibilities.
  3. Collect and double-check contact details, business information, and answers to key research questions.
  4. Write short, clear emails to explain the purpose of our research to potential participants.
  5. Work closely with company leadership to make sure your research lines up with the overall project goals.
  6. Do daily follow-ups to keep things moving and ensure we stay on track.
  7. Submit clear daily updates and weekly reports on your progress.
  8. Keep all research data well-organized, accurate, and up to date in our systems.
  9. Stay updated on changes in different industries and what customers or buyers are currently focusing on.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 1+ year of experience in a research, business support, or lead generation role.
  2. Comfortable finding and engaging the right people within companies via email, phone, or LinkedIn.
  3. Strong attention to detail when handling admin work, contact lists, and research updates.
  4. Confident communicating with internal leadership and supporting client-facing teams.
  5. Ability to stay organized, work independently, and meet daily and weekly research targets.
