Duties :
- Manage and lead the Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales team effectively
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Oversee and manage the entire used vehicle inventory, including sourcing, pricing, and stock control
- Ensure all vehicles meet quality, compliance, and merchandising standards before going on sale
- Motivate, train, and mentor the sales team to maximize performance and maintain high morale
- Maintain and grow customer satisfaction and retention levels
- Oversee the vehicle evaluation and trade-in processes
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, stock levels, and market trends
- Ensure the sales process is followed in line with regulatory and dealership standards
- Collaborate with the marketing team to drive promotions and online sales strategies
Requirements :
Matric / Grade 12 (essential)Minimum of 2 years proven experience as a Used / Pre-Owned Sales Manager within a multi-franchise, dealership environmentStrong track record of achieving sales targetsLeadership and team management skillsKnowledge of multi-franchise brand standards and processes (advantageous)Excellent customer service and communication skillsValid drivers licenseComputer literate experience with dealership management systems (e.g. Kerridge / Autoline / Drive)Highly motivated, results-oriented leaderAbility to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and a proactive approach to stock managementCustomer-centric with a high level of professionalismStrategic thinker with a hands-on, can-do attitudeAutomotive Industry experience Essential!!Please note only candidates with the required experience will be contacted and considered.
