Job Summary

This role reports to the Head of OHS and CRES Risk and focuses on Premises Risk Management across CRES. The key responsibilities include supporting functional Heads to manage Premises Risk, ensuring alignment with strategies, assurance, operating models, and control design. The role aims to effectively manage risk profiles and controls across the Group, including day-to-day risk management under the ERMF and leading on primary risks within the function.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

Risk Management Processes

  • Support implementation of Group Risk policies, ERMF, and ORRMF, including risk appetite, classification, event management, self-assessment, issues, assurance, indicators, scenario analysis, lessons learned, root cause analysis, and risk technologies.
  • Oversee frameworks, policies, and standards implementation, providing quality assurance and support to business units.

Risk Measurement and Capital Management

  • Lead scenario analysis and capital assessment processes, monitor operational risk capital adequacy.

Risk Monitoring and Assurance

  • Facilitate assurance plans, coordinate collation of a combined assurance plan for Premises risk, embed assurance standards and governance, and oversee assurance activities.

Evaluation

  • Assess Premises risk embedment, performance of risk indicators, and effectiveness of risk assessments. Conduct deep dives, lessons learned, and risk event reviews, ensuring proper escalation and remediation.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop engagement models, coordinate with stakeholders, communicate risk management requirements, and support risk training and awareness.

Reporting

  • Validate and interpret risk reports, ensure data quality, and oversee adherence to reporting standards.

Other Responsibilities

  • Participate in projects, ensuring risk assessment and mitigation plans are in place.

Education

Bachelor’s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies are required.
