Job summary

Wellness Warehouse in Parow, South Africa, is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Picker to support daily stock movements. You will follow handheld instructions, scan locations and product codes, and ensure the correct quantities are picked while upholding FIFO and accuracy.

The role involves receiving stock from the main DC and suppliers, assisting with expiry checks and stock counts, and working shifts as required. Previous experience with WMS and RF handheld devices is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must have attention to detail and be accurate in stock handling.
• Strong numerical counting ability and reading picking instructions.
• Able to read and follow picking instructions accurately.
• Reliable, punctual and consistent attendance.
• Able to work shifts, weekends or public holidays as required.
• Must be physically able to stand, walk, bend and lift stock.
• Experience using handheld scanners or WMS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive stock from the Main DC, Stores and from suppliers.
• Assist in stock management, expiry checks and stock counts.
• Pick according to handheld device instructions and FIFO principles.
• Scan the location and product code to ensure correct stock is picked.
• Ensure correct quantity and one reference per SO/TO.
• While picking, place boxes into staging and on the packing table.
