Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Inspector for our Benoni manufacturing facility. You will perform visual and measurement inspections, use calipers, micrometers and gauges, and document results to ensure products meet specifications.

You will collaborate with production teams, identify non-conforming items for corrective action, and contribute to ongoing quality improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certificate in quality control is a plus.
• Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar quality role in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with quality inspection tools and techniques (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with production staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and measurement inspections of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods.
• Utilize measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of all quality checks.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming products, initiating the process for corrective action.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement immediate solutions.
• Stay updated on product specifications, quality standards, and inspection procedures.
