A leading automotive company is seeking a Maintenance Artisan in East London. The role involves planning and executing Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance for all plant machinery. Candidates must possess an N4 qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, with at least 5 years of factory maintenance experience. Strong skills in communication and leadership are essential. This position offers opportunities to work on various projects, adhere to safety regulations, and engage in preventative maintenance schedules.

Qualifications

• Trade Tested or similar qualifications.
• 5 years' experience in a factory maintenance environment.
• Experience on Injection Molding Machines is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance.
• Ensure preventative maintenance is carried out according to schedules.
• Check stock levels for all spares/materials and place orders if needed.
• Assist in trend analysis of breakdowns and expenditures.
• Handle electrical installations and PLC systems.
• Manage mechanical installations and oversee general buildings.
• Comply with OHS Act regulations and other applicable legislation.
