Job summary

Isuzu South Africa is seeking a Precision Machining Specialist to optimize high-tolerance automotive component production. You will operate CNC centers, ensure metrology-based quality, and drive process improvements in a safety-forward environment.

With 3-5 years in automotive manufacturing, you will collaborate with engineering teams, uphold ISO 9001 standards, and contribute to cost-effective, world-class machining capabilities at our Vryheid facility.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Certification in CNC programming is advantageous.
• 3-5 years of automotive/manufacturing experience.
• Experience with Isuzu or similar production systems preferred.
• GD&T knowledge and multi-axis CNC experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC machining centers for precision component production.
• Conduct quality inspections using metrology tools and software.
• Optimize machining processes to meet production targets and cost efficiency goals.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and safety protocols.
