Job description

As a Pre-sales Specialist, you'll be responsible for the implementation of value-added services and configurations that create ease of use and access to LexisNexis products.

You will consult with customers to assess organizational and technical requirements, proactively identify risks, describe, and implement various solutions.

Responsibilities

  1. Ensuring excellent quality of stakeholder engagement and client relationships.
  2. Providing training and transfer skills on the software implemented.
  3. Updating new releases, features, and functionality to train clients as well as internal stakeholders.
  4. Ensuring all internal and external stakeholders are consistently communicated with and expectations are managed.
  5. Identifying and communicating innovations or knowledge that is created/implemented.
  6. Showing the ability to identify risks and issues threatening the success of your deliverables.
  7. Understanding the impact that it has on your work or project and ensuring you think about possible mitigations before raising.
  8. Ensuring excellent productivity in available hours and delivering work within agreed time frames.
  9. Ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed timeously, namely timesheets, project sign-offs, and client communications where applicable.

Requirements

  1. Able to transfer knowledge and conduct one-on-one training.
  2. Have good work ethics, can pay attention to detail and has a passion for accuracy.
  3. Able to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, able to work independently and manage themselves.
  4. Able to take direction, prioritize and remain focused on the task at hand.
  5. Communicate clearly, manage clients and exceed their expectations.
  6. Have an excellent ability to develop good client and stakeholder relationships.
  7. Prove to be a self-starter who is pro-active and can both identify project risks and address these successfully.
