Job description

Our client is seeking a talented and proactive Pre-Sales Executive with a strong background in Data Analytics, specifically in building modern data warehouses in On-Prem and Cloud Environments, and software solutions, specifically in the realm of application services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge, outstanding communication skills, and a deep understanding of customer requirements. As a Pre-Sales Executive, you will collaborate with the sales team and play a critical role in driving revenue growth by demonstrating the value and capabilities of the company analytics and software solutions to prospective clients. Part of the mandatory requirements includes sound knowledge in documentation, drafting professional proposals, and user guides.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop a deep understanding of the company analytics and software solutions, with a particular focus on the company IP (Intellectual Property) Products.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and workshops for prospective clients, showcasing the features, functionalities, and benefits of our clients’ solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and tailor demonstrations to address specific needs.
  • Act as a technical advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations on how the company solutions can address their business challenges effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotes, and RFP / RFI responses in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay updated on industry trends and identify new opportunities for business development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as product development and marketing, to provide feedback from clients and contribute to solution enhancements.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in analytics, software, and application services to continuously improve knowledge and expertise.
  • Use knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively manage customer objections to the clients Technologies’ offerings.
  • Build relationships with the sales team, partners, and customers in support of sales team objectives.
  • Assist the sales team to develop and implement specific account penetration strategies, produce account specific product and service and sales plans.
  • Present and market the design and value of proposed the client Technologies offerings and business case to customers, prospects and the companies Technologies management.
  • Qualify sales opportunities based on customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding.
  • Conduct technical training for the sales team.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT (Virtualization, Cloud, Enterprise Applications, Databases, Software Development Processes, Big Data and Analytics).
  • Proven experience (Minimum 5 years) in a pre-sale role, specifically focused on analytics and software solutions.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of application services, cloud platforms, data analytics, and software development.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences, including C-level executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver persuasive product demonstrations and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand customer requirements and propose innovative solutions.
  • Solid understanding of the competitive landscape and industry trends in the analytics and software domain.
  • Possess detailed product / technology / industry knowledge.
  • Good understanding of enterprise customers’ requirements and strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong drive to achieve targets and exceed customer expectations.
