Job description

The Parks Pre Primary invites applications for the position of Grade 00 teacher, to start in January 2026.

The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the following key areas:

• Responsible for whole-child development of a class of Pre-Primary children
• Planning and preparation in alignment with the School’s Curriculum
• Comprehensive and continuous assessment and observation of each child’s development
• Daily professional interaction with parents
• Close teamwork and collegiality within the school
• Must have the ability to identify with the values and ethos of the school
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with parents, staff and most importantly with young children
• Is motivated and uses initiative
• Have a good command of the English Language (spoken and written)
• Strong computer skills, both for administrative purposes and ICT in the classroom
• Must have a warm and nurturing personality
• Willing to participate in continuous staff development

The preferred applicant will be an experienced university graduate with current SACE registration and police clearance as well as relevant experience at a reputable educational institution
