Description: JDJ Diagnostics is looking for a dynamic and mature individual who must be computer literate and have at least 3 years of experience in administrative work for our laboratory.


Requirements

  1. Grade 12
  2. Post grade 12 software experience an advantage.
  3. 3 Years Relevant Working Experience

Responsibilities

  1. Administers sorting and distribution of samples according to set standard operating procedures.
  2. Processes sample registration and queries according to set standard operating procedures.
  3. Ensures dispatching of specimens for processing in accordance with prescribed standard operating procedures including handling queries in line with prescribed turnaround time.
  4. Handles and refers administrative queries and customer complaints to ensure timely resolution of queries and responses to complaints.
  5. Responsible for samples being tracked into the lab via couriers and sisters.
  6. Investigates bottleneck in pre-analytical laboratory processes and ensure timely resolution of challenges.
  7. Ensures basic housekeeping in own working area, including suitable cleaning and preparation of equipment according to set standard operating procedures.
  8. Monitors stock levels and orders additional stock to ensure the availability of required materials at all times and ensure delivery of stock to the department.
  9. Represents the organisation by applying the principles of customer care in the medical pathology field and interacts professionally and ethically with medical professionals, clients and staff.
  10. Receives cash from couriers, sisters and depots and ensures banking of monies in accordance with relevant standard operating procedures.
  11. Reports incidents, generates customer complaints and is solution orientated. Documents and actions tasks on the laboratory information management system in compliance with relevant organisational policy.
  12. Prepares and scans patient forms onto laboratory scanning system and resolves the scanning incompletes according to set standard operating procedures.
  13. Responsible for adhering to company uniform protocols as set standard operating procedures.
  14. Liaising with medical aids via email / telephone.
  15. QC lab requisition forms.
  16. Ad-hoc admin duties.
