Intercare Mbombela Medical and Dental Centre in Mpumalanga province seeks to recruit a Practice Manager who is client-centric and value-driven. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the entire business unit. The successful leader will be goal-focused, self-motivated, ambitious, and highly competent in managing diverse stakeholder relationships, driven by patient satisfaction and business values.

Focusing on quality, staff, and patient experience, we seek strategic business partners to enhance market leadership and brand awareness by taking ownership of patient satisfaction, operational accountability, and financial performance.

Critical Outputs
  1. Build and manage relationships between healthcare professionals and the company.
  2. Ensure processes are conducive to customer satisfaction.
  3. Identify improvement areas and implement initiatives to maintain high customer service levels.
  4. Ensure sound operational practices aligned with the organisation's model.
  5. Manage all activities and services in accordance with legislation, policies, and procedures.
  6. Support and drive the implementation of national operational initiatives to improve productivity.
  7. Facilitate operational process changes using sound change management principles.
  8. Drive practice-specific best operating practices in line with policies.
  9. Ensure resources are available for a productive work environment.
  10. Meet all monthly and annual deadlines.
  11. Communicate proactively regarding changes and initiatives to stakeholders.
  12. Adhere to ethical and clinical standards for legislative compliance.
  13. Ensure compliance with registration requirements of relevant bodies.
  14. Participate in internal audits and implement corrective actions within 3 months.
  15. Align local business strategies with the national operational strategy.
  16. Monitor operational costs and turnover continuously.
  17. Provide timely feedback on budget deviations.
  18. Participate in business planning and budgeting, identifying trends and improvements.
  19. Manage operational costs within budget.
  20. Plan manpower to ensure effective staffing.
  21. Develop team members to enhance business efficiency.
  22. Support HR initiatives, including Employee Relations.
  23. Adjust staff costs according to occupancy levels.
Requirements
  • Matric Certificate (minimum).
  • Bachelor’s degree or similar qualification (advantageous).
  • Experience in the healthcare industry (advantageous).
  • Understanding of labour law, finance, and change management principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365.
  • At least 3 years in a management role.
  • Driver’s license and own transport.
  • Business-focused and visionary.
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy.

  • Strong planning, organizing, and controlling skills.
  • Assertiveness, diplomacy, and integrity.
