Durban - An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and motivated Practice Manager to join a multi-disciplinary medical practice in the Durban area. We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and driven individual to lead and support our team.
Our client operates within the sports rehabilitation and healthcare sector, offering specialised treatment and recovery services. The facility is focused on high-quality patient care, professional service delivery, and efficient practice management. Their team works closely with medical professionals and patients in a performance-driven environment.

The Practice Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the practice, ensuring efficient administration and coordination across departments. This role requires prior experience in a medical office or hospital environment, with strong leadership and administrative skills. The ideal candidate will manage reception and admin staff, maintain compliance and accurate records, and support financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise reception and administrative staff
  • Ensure all administrative tasks and patient records are up to date and accurately maintained
  • Assist administrative staff with tasks as needed to ensure continuity and efficiency
  • Handle patient queries and concerns with discretion and professionalism
  • Monitor office supplies and manage procurement
  • Process and submit medical aid claims accurately and timeously
  • Support billing, invoicing, and insurance documentation
  • Record sales, purchases, and payments
  • Reconcile bank accounts and ledgers
  • Manage invoices and track expenses
  • Support accountants with data and documentation for monthly reports
  • Maintain compliance with privacy and healthcare regulations

Remuneration
