Job Description

Our client in the global professional services industry is looking for a PR Account Executive to support communications and public relations activities across a broad range of tasks with increasing independence and sound judgment. This role plays a key part in the implementation of client programmes and requires a solid foundation in public relations, writing, media relations, influencer marketing, social media, organisation, research, and production. The Account Executive will manage direct client interactions and contribute to the effective execution of projects and campaigns.
What you will do:
Account Management:
- Perform day-to-day account work including drafting written materials, engaging with media and influencers, coordinating press drops or events, maintaining client and media contact, managing projects, and supervising junior staff.
- Liaise between clients, suppliers (content creators, designers, photographers, A/V teams), and internal/external stakeholders such as employees, media, influencers, and interest groups.
- Maintain familiarity with team communications plans and track client businesses.
- Pursue opportunities to enhance involvement and contributions to the account, team, and agency.
Professional Skills:
- Assist in implementing events including press conferences, media briefings, analyst meetings, media tours, and third-party advocacy.
- Utilise internal and external research for analyses and proposals.
- Contribute to presentations using available resources.
- Balance workload effectively, meet deadlines, and stay within budgets.
- Execute media and influencer relations activities, ensuring alignment with client needs.
- Support social media initiatives with platform knowledge and capabilities.
Financial and Administrative:
- Apply understanding of budget development, monitoring, and billing processes.
- Contribute to budget planning and manage activity reporting.
- Complete timesheets daily and follow company policies and procedures.
- Meet productivity and billability targets.
Business Development:
- Contribute to new business development and presentation efforts.
- Support account growth and pursue new opportunities.
- Provide creative, effective solutions to client challenges.
Initiative and General Management:
- Demonstrate initiative in identifying ways to advance team, group, agency, and client interests.
- Apply sound judgment and seek guidance when appropriate.
- Actively engage in problem-solving, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in meetings and uphold agency values: ‘Do the Right Thing’, ‘Do the Best Work of Our Lives’, ‘Do It Together’.
- Build skills and knowledge to increase personal and agency value.
