Job description

We have an opportunity for a skilled and experienced Power BI Platform Professional to join our dynamic team. This mid-senior level role involves designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions using the Microsoft Power BI Platform suite. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business intelligence systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record of translating business requirements into efficient and scalable Power BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI Platform solutions tailored to specific business needs.
  • Customise and configure Power BI applications to optimise functionality.
  • Manage and drive projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and define solution architectures.
  • Ensure seamless integration of Power BI solutions with existing systems and applications.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Recognised three-year Diploma or Degree in Technology or related field.
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, developing and implementing Power BI solutions.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, DAX formulas and data visualisation best practices.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Skills Required:

  • Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform tools including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and other third-party systems using connectors and APIs.
