Job summary

Express Employment Professionals Midrand is seeking a technically adept BI professional with hands-on experience across the Microsoft BI stack. The role focuses on delivering robust data models, insightful reporting, and scalable deployment pipelines in a cloud-first environment.

You will work with Power BI Desktop/Service, Fabric, and SQL Azure data sources, applying best practices in data governance and security while supporting ETL/ELT processes and DevOps workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong practical capability across the Microsoft BI environment.
• Hands-on with Power BI Desktop/Service and Fabric.
• Experience with data modelling, DAX and star-schema design.
• Proficient in SQL Server/T-SQL and Azure data services.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT, dataflows, and deployment pipelines.
• Familiar with DevOps practices, CI/CD and source control.
