Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant

Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant, registered in the category Pharmacists Assistant (post-basic). Experience in buying of ethicals and surgicals on the SAP system is compulsory. Knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) in SAP would also be an advantage.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent level of education
• Current registration with South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as a QPBPA
• >3 years’ experience in a private hospital pharmacy
• Computer proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
• Sound knowledge of surgicals supplies and consumables

Minimum job requirements:

• Procurement of ethicals and surgicals for pharmaceutical services.
• Updating MRP parameters on SAP.
• Understanding of a Formulary for ethicals and preferred providers for surgicals.
• Adherence to timelines.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
