Job summary

Absa Bank Limited invites applications for a DevOps role within our technology teams. You will apply critical thinking and problem solving to deliver high-performing, scalable enterprise-grade applications, contributing across the development lifecycle in an agile environment.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes, automate tasks with Ansible, and align development with Group Architecture and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Ansible automation is a plus.
• Ability to work in an Agile, cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle in an agile team.
• Develop, optimize, and document source code for scalable applications.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts.
• Ensure designs align with architectural standards and governance.
