A rapidly growing procurement company, which offers a reliable procurement solution out of South Africa to the Oil and Gas and related industries throughout Africa, are currently looking to expand their dynamic team with a Portuguese Accountant to join their Cape Town, South Africa offices.

Responsibilities

• Monthly management reports (reporting to Finance Manager) & liaising with foreign accountants & statutory bodies
• Audit preparation (local and foreign)
• Cash flow management
• Payroll administration
• Company administration, contract reviews, foreign statutory & legal research

Qualifications

• Accounting qualification or similar
• Fluent in Portuguese
• Min 3-5 years’ experience
• Solid knowledge of international accounting standards
• Foreign tax knowledge advantageous
• Familiarity with exchange rates and working with several foreign currencies
