A rapidly growing procurement company, which offers reliable procurement solutions out of South Africa to the Oil and Gas and related industries throughout Africa, is currently looking to expand its dynamic team with a Portuguese Accountant to join their Cape Town, South Africa offices.

As the Portuguese Accountant, your job will involve managing the full accounting functions for foreign entities to support the Finance division.

Portuguese Accountant in Cape Town, South Africa duties include:

• Preparing monthly management reports (reporting to the Finance Manager) and liaising with foreign accountants and statutory bodies
• Audit preparation (local and foreign)
• Managing cash flow
• Payroll administration
• Company administration, contract reviews, foreign statutory & legal research

Requirements for the Portuguese Accountant role:

• Accounting qualification or similar
• Fluent in Portuguese
• Min 3-5 years’ experience
• Solid knowledge of international accounting standards

• Familiarity with exchange rates and working with multiple foreign currencies
