Job description

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of Sectional Title and Homeowners Association (HOA) properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to trustees and homeowners, managing maintenance issues, coordinating contractors, and ensuring full compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple residential properties, ensuring smooth operations and profitability
  • Deliver excellent customer service and keep trustees informed on issue progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Escalate unresolved issues appropriately and identify cost liabilities.
  • Oversee property upkeep, repairs, and contractor engagement
  • Coordinate contractor workloads and monitor quality of work.
  • Obtain quotes and advise trustees on maintenance decisions.
  • Support trustee / directors’ meetings and AGM’s through inter alia, preparation, attendance, record keeping, process facilitation and resolution implementation.
  • Provide financial reporting including preparation of budgets, financially reports and audits.
  • Act as liaison between stakeholders such as residents, trustees, directors, service providers and management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sectional Title and / or HOA property management.
  • Strong understanding of property legislation and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite and ability to master specialised property agency software
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Able to manage workload independently and work closely with support staff.
  • Own reliable transport is essential.
  • Adaptable to the Company’s culture and values.
  • Calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Friendly, efficient, and willing to learn.
