We are seeking a sales-driven Portfolio Manager to drive business growth, maximize profitability, and strengthen client relationships.Responsibilities include managing a pipeline of clients and deals, conducting financial assessments, structuring agreements, and ensuring successful transaction execution.ResponsibilitiesDrive business growth, maximize profitability, and foster strong client relationships through effective new business development, rigorous financial analysis, and strategic cross-selling efforts.

Maintain a client-focused approach daily.Identify and pursue new business opportunities within specific sectors (Aviation, Agriculture, Transport, Technology, Renewable Energy, Yellow Metal, etc.

Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and deals.Analyze market trends to capitalize on emerging opportunities.Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and propose tailored financial solutions.Collaborate with internal teams to structure deals that meet both client requirements and company objectives.Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.Evaluate the financial viability of proposed deals and assess their potential impact on overall profitability.Ensure timely and efficient execution of new business transactions from initiation to closure.Develop strong relationships with existing clients to uncover additional business needs and promote products or services from within the Merchant West Group (Lending & Advisory products).Measure the quality of leads provided to other business units within the Merchant West Group, emphasizing quality over quantity.QualificationsBCom degree with Finance and / or Mathematics, Accounting as subjects.Experience4+ years' experience in a sales position with a financial background or solution selling.Existing relationships and client / dealer base within the sector.Ability to understand and analyze financial statements.Familiarity with the National Credit Act.SkillsInterest and knowledge in the Technology sector and assets.Strong understanding of Technology markets, technologies, and regulatory environments.Driver's License (Code 08).Experience with Tailored Staff Financial Wellness Offerings.Select divisions in the MW Group are licensed and authorized FSPs.
