Job description

Sectional Title and Home Owners Association (HOA) Portfolio Manager

As a Sectional Title and Home Owners Association (HOA) Portfolio Manager based in Cape Town, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of sectional title schemes and homeowners associations within the region.

Your role will involve ensuring the efficient and effective management of properties, financial affairs, and stakeholder relationships.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Manage a portfolio of sectional title schemes and homeowners associations in Cape Town.
  2. Develop and implement comprehensive management plans for each property in the portfolio.
  3. Oversee property maintenance, repairs, and improvements to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  4. Prepare and manage annual budgets for each property, including financial reporting and forecasting.
  5. Coordinate and attend board meetings, AGMs, and other relevant meetings with property owners.
  6. Act as a primary point of contact for property owners, tenants, and service providers.
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, by-laws, and regulations governing sectional title and HOA management.
  8. Address and resolve any disputes or conflicts that may arise within the properties.
  9. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to property management and financial performance.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting property management.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Business, or related field.
  2. Proven experience in property management, particularly with sectional title schemes and homeowners associations.
  3. Strong knowledge of South African sectional title, HOA, and property management regulations.
