Our client, a leader in the Financial Services space, based in Sandhurst, Gauteng, is looking to employ an experienced Portfolio Manager to their dynamic team! An understanding of and experience in:

  • Asset Allocation (Strategic and Tactical)
  • Equity research and portfolio management
  • Fixed income analysis
  • Cashflow management and corporate actions
  • Global and local investments

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in the financial services industry
  • 2+ years in portfolio management
  • Exposure to boutique wealth management or niche markets is advantageous
  • Commerce or similar degree; postgraduate qualification preferred
  • Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry, FAIS, FICA legislation
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office essential; experience with xPlan or share portfolio systems advantageous
  • Strong marketing, client acquisition, and sales skills
