Placements24 is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager for our asset management client in Paarl, Western Cape. You will lead portfolio construction, asset allocation, and security selection, aiming to meet client objectives and targets.

You will conduct market research, evaluate investment opportunities, and collaborate with researchers and traders to implement strategies while ensuring risk controls and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related quantitative field; CFA designation strongly preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in portfolio management or investment analysis.
• Proven track record of managing investment portfolios and achieving consistent returns.
• Deep understanding of financial markets, investment instruments, and valuation methodologies.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
