Job Overview

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join their project operations team as a Portfolio Intelligence Analyst.

You will play a critical role in supporting project management activities, driving efficiency, mitigating risks, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Your responsibilities include managing and optimizing project support tools, ensuring their effective use across projects, and providing technical support to project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Customize Jira workflows, screens, fields, and permissions to meet team and project needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into project support items.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to maximize tool utilization and promote best practices.
• Provide technical support and create documentation for support tools and processes.
• Identify automation opportunities, streamline workflows, and improve data quality.
• Develop and enforce best practices, guidelines, and standards for project tools.
• Coordinate with IT to troubleshoot issues and ensure system integration.
• Monitor tool usage and analyze data to identify improvements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and recommend new tools or enhancements.
• Assist in evaluating, selecting, and implementing new project support tools.
• Configure and maintain tools such as PPO, Jira, and Power BI to meet team needs.

Qualifications

Experience & Skills

• Experience as a Project Support Tool Specialist or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools like Power BI, including report/dashboard development.
• Experience customizing and configuring project support tools.
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in project management software (e.g., PPO, Jira), collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams), and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
