Job description

We are looking for a Portfolio Administrator who will play an important role in assisting a team that advises, services, and manages local and offshore investment portfolios for high-net-worth clients.



Responsibilities

  • Administer client accounts - Assist in obtaining client onboarding documentation (local & offshore) and obtain the necessary FICA documentation to be handed to the client onboarding team. Liaise with clients and assist with client queries, maintain client relationships where necessary
  • Daily and monthly planning & reporting on key areas (client review/appointments etc.) - develop an understanding of the portfolio management business. Prepare investment proposals and client review packs for clients where necessary. Maintain accurate spreadsheets for monthly client income payments
  • Assist with marketing campaigns and relevant market communication, on the social media platform, e.g. Fund fact sheets, up-to-date market information. Assist with the preparation of client proposals, portfolio reviews. Send performance reviews and statements to clients when necessary





Requirements

  • Matric
  • Relevant Diploma or NQF 6 Qualification
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the role
  • Reliable transport and punctual
  • Advanced - Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, BDA
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Experience with FICA and Compliance matters
  • Good understanding of Forex and Money Markets
  • Experience in BDA and Dynamics is an advantage
  • Passion / keen interest in stock markets an advantage
