Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of a Porter at Life Rosepark Hospital in Bloemfontein, reporting to the Porter Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for transferring patients between the wards and the X-Ray department as per schedule.

Critical Outputs

• Fetch and return ward patients
• Collect and return ward patients scheduled for procedures
• Maintain and check the whiteboard schedule throughout the day
• Deliver reports and images to wards and doctors' suites
• Ensure all reports and film envelopes are delivered promptly to the correct destinations
• Maintain health and safety standards by keeping work areas, passages, wheelchairs, and gurneys neat and tidy

Requirements
