Job summary

Greys Personnel seeks a reliable Warehouse Storeman to assist the Warehouse Manager in coordinating activities within a busy port, stevedoring and cargo operations environment.

Responsibilities include receiving, stacking, dispatch, stock administration and reporting, with flexibility to work on vessels when required. You must have forklift certification, MS Office skills and be able to work shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is required.
• Minimum 1 year operational or admin experience.
• Minimum 2 years forklift operating experience.
• Certified forklift operator.
• Computer literate with MS Office.
• Ability to work shifts and overtime when required.
• Reside in Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha) or surrounding areas.
• Immediate availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist Warehouse Manager with day-to-day control of warehouse activities.
• Receive, inspect, store incoming goods and maintain records.
• Coordinate stacking and dispatch of cargo.
• Prepare daily receipt and dispatch reports.
• Maintain accurate warehouse administration and documentation.
• Operate forklifts safely when required.
• Assist with loading, unloading and movement of cargo.
• Ensure health, safety and security procedures are followed.
