A leading health organization is seeking a Podiatrist for an exciting role in Inverness. The position is open to recent graduates and includes extensive nail surgery and wound management responsibilities. Ideal candidates will hold a BSc in Podiatric Medicine and possess good communication skills. This role offers a chance to enhance clinical skills in a supportive environment.

This is an exciting post also open to recent graduates who may wish to increase their clinical skills. The role may include a significant period of mentorship covering advanced clinical techniques, often beyond those typically experienced at college.
Key responsibilities include extensive nail surgery, Post Tibial blocks, deep enucleations, needling/blunt dissections of verrucae, MSK podiatry, and wound care management of the high-risk limb.
No previous experience is necessary, although an understanding of the philosophy of care aims is desirable. The candidate may be employed at a Band 5 level.
You will have a BSc qualification in Podiatric Medicine, be qualified in L.A and nail surgery, and registered with the HPC.
Inverness offers good commuting options to both the West Coast of Scotland and further north, with excellent transport links to the south. It is an ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts.
The highly motivated South & Mid Podiatry team is part of the wider NHS Highland Podiatry Department, with all divisions meeting regularly. You should demonstrate sound professional and clinical knowledge, understanding of clinical governance, and its application.
Of utmost importance are good interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to prioritize, plan, and organize your workload. A full, current driving license is also essential.
