HIGH COURT LEGAL PRACTITIONER – CRIMINAL INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RE-ADVERTISEMENT PIETERMARITZBURG LOCAL OFFICE

Key Outputs

• Provide legal representation to indigent accused persons at High Court level.

Competencies (Skills, Knowledge, and Attributes) Required

• Admitted attorney or advocate (advocates must have completed pupillage at a recognised institution).
• Legal representation experience at High Court level.
• Minimum of seven years' post-qualification experience; five years must be post-admission.
• At least four years' High Court experience or six years' Regional Court experience.
• Proven track record in criminal matters at High Court level.
• Right of appearance in High Court.
• Valid driver's license (an advantage).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical thinking ability.
• Team player and self-development oriented.
