About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Plumbing Technician to join their dynamic team serving the Vereeniging area. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of water and drainage systems in both commercial and residential properties. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing codes, materials, and techniques, as well as excellent problem-solving skills to address a variety of plumbing challenges. You will work directly with clients, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, contributing to the essential infrastructure of the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, and sewage pipes.
• Diagnose and resolve issues such as leaks, blockages, low water pressure, and faulty fixtures.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Install and service water heaters, pumps, and other plumbing-related equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plumbing diagrams, and building codes.
• Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls, providing effective and efficient solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plumbing Technician with a strong understanding of plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency with plumbing tools and equipment, including pipe cutters, wrenches, and drain snakes.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of plumbing issues in various settings.
