Placements24 is seeking a skilled Plumbing and Drainage Installation Specialist to join our team in Kimberley, Northern Cape. The role focuses on installing new plumbing and drainage systems in residential and commercial properties, and ensuring leak-free, efficient operation of existing infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience, strong knowledge of plumbing codes, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install and connect water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures in buildings.

• Perform pressure testing and leak detection.
• Work with copper, PVC, and PEX piping.
• Maintain a clean and safe work site and report progress to the supervisor.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of plumbing codes, materials, and techniques, along with a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship. You will be responsible for executing installations according to blueprints and specifications, ensuring systems are leak-free and efficient. This is a hands-on position for a reliable and experienced tradesperson dedicated to providing excellent service throughout Kimberley, Northern Cape.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and connect water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings.
• Read and interpret plumbing blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Ensure all installations comply with local building codes and plumbing regulations.
• Perform pressure testing and leak detection to guarantee system integrity.
• Work with a variety of plumbing materials, including copper, PVC, and PEX piping.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on job sites.
• Report on work progress and any encountered issues to the site supervisor.
