Vacancy: Plumber (Construction Company – Bulk Water Supplies)
Our client, a reputable construction company based in Benoni, Johannesburg, is seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join their team. This role involves working with bulk water supply systems and ensuring high-quality plumbing services are delivered efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair bulk water supply systems and pipelines.
• Conduct routine inspections, identify issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades.
• Drive the company van to various sites, ensuring timely service delivery.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients & supervisors.
Minimum Requirements
• Qualified Trade-Tested Plumber with a recognised plumbing certification from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ proven experience in plumbing, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked on bulk water supply systems, pipelines, or municipal infrastructure projects.
• Valid South African driver’s license (Code B or higher) with a clean driving record; must be comfortable operating company vehicles across multiple sites.
• Residing in or near Benoni or Tembisa.
• Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, water pressure management, pipe fitting and water flow diagnostics.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, team members and supervisors.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour in various weather conditions and environments.
• Flexible availability, including willingness to work extended hours from Monday to Saturday, and be on standby for emergency call-outs on Sundays.
