Job description

The main purpose of this position is to install, repair, and maintain water, drainage, and heating systems in residential and commercial buildings.

Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience post-graduation in a similar position.

Strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies.

An understanding of health and safety standards.

Ability to write clear and precise reports and to communicate information effectively to a diverse audience.

Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with collaboration tools. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Teamwork skills and the ability to motivate and lead on-site personnel. Commercial awareness.

Proactive, practical, logical, methodical, resourceful, and solution-oriented mindset.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.

Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• General plumbing and maintenance.
• Quality Control.
• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
• Water dispensing units and related work.
• Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
• Follow building plans and blueprints.
• Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
• Light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling, and electrical work as required.
• Prepare bids, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Keep accurate records of time spent, work performed, and materials used.
